What we collect, and why

When you apply to coach with us

The Coach with us form asks for your name, email, city and province, coaching certification, the languages you coach in, and a few sentences about your coaching. Your phone number and a website or profile link are optional. We use these details only to review your application and to reply to you. We record when you agreed to this. If we approve your application, we use your email to send your coach portal invitation.

When you message or book a coach

The WhatsApp and text buttons open WhatsApp or your phone's messaging app, addressed to the AHI Canada Life office or, where a coach has added their own number, to that coach. This website does not see or keep those messages. Free calls are booked through each coach's own Calendly page, and payments go through the coach's own PayPal or Stripe page. Those services handle your details under their own privacy policies. AHI Canada Life does not receive your card or payment details.

Coaches and staff who sign in

For the coach portal and the AHI desk we keep your name and email, your password (stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back), your two-step sign-in settings, and what you add to your profile: your bio, photo, location, booking and payment links, the WhatsApp and text numbers you choose to add, and services and prices. We keep a record of sign-ins and changes so that we can tell if something went wrong.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets a cookie only when a coach or staff member signs in, to keep them signed in. It uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the Programs page loads Calendly's booking window. Those services receive the technical details a browser always sends, such as your IP address.

Who else handles your details

We use a small number of service providers to run this website: our web host (Hostinger), our email delivery service (Resend) for invitations, codes and notices, and, where you choose to use them, Calendly, PayPal, Stripe and WhatsApp. They may store or process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. For example, the desk requires two-step sign-in, and every sign-in code is single-use and expires.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to withdraw your application and have it deleted. When we delete an application, your name and email are also removed from our activity records about it. Write to support@ahicanada.life.
